Through various contributions in the blog section I report, among other things, about the attitude as well as the characteristics of my reptiles.
Everything I have written comes from my own observations, hypotheses and assumptions. It is not meant to be the only way to keep or breed reptiles, but just to give an insight into my world, thoughts and approaches!
As I always say, there are several ways to get there, not just one right way. Thus, I try to pick up different approaches, test them and summarize them in a conclusion.

About me
I’m Sophie and the founder of Geckos by Sophie.
Briefly about myself; I am 23 years old and have been caring for reptiles for 8 years now. Currently I live in beautiful Switzerland – at Lake Constance.
My fascination with reptiles began at the age of 10. Back then, visiting reptile and butterfly houses with my dad was a highlight for me. At the age of 12 I was allowed to hold a tarantula on my hand for the first time. It was not clear to me at the time that I would develop such a pronounced passion today.
